Christmas Postcards by Toni Major

Christmas Postcard, Toni Major

My attraction to fabrics began as a young girl, learning to sew at school and home, eventually sewing tailored suits and coats and teaching sewing classes.
Art classes in high school inspired me to learn pottery and painting into adulthood and continue until present day. After a decade of producing pottery in my own studio my interests evolved into quilting and textile arts which now included fabrics, paint and stitching. y art quilts are influenced strongly by the natural world and personal experience.
As a member of the Studio Art Quilts Associated (SAQA), an international organization, I regularly submit work and have a small juried art quilt in the permanent collection at the National Quilt Museum in Kentucky
