Carol announced that we were celebrating our 40th Anniversary as a Guild at this meeting, albeit a little late since our Guild was formed in December of 1980.

Treasurer Theresa Bell presented the treasurer’ report to the membership stating that we are in a healthy position with our funds as long as we remain vigilant in our spending.

It was noted that the positions that remain without Chairpersons to guide them, are Fundraising and Community Outreach. If you are interested in helping on either of these committees please contact Lynda Iannandrea.

Program Chairperson, Pat Andres reviewed the speakers for our October General Meeting, Toni Major and November General Meeting, Fran Inglis. Workshops are available the day following these meetings so please see the information on the web site and sign up on-line.

Our 40th Anniversary celebration started off with the cutting of a cake by founding members who were present, followed by an enjoyable and enriching presentation by Nina Stahlschmidt, Jackie Morningstar, Natalie Benner, and Gloria Meyer.  The Special Event Committee of Leslie Moulson, Rose Ranahan Linda Moffet and Arlene McGuire capped off the evening with a slide show from the past which was enjoyed by all.
