Guest Speaker: Fran Inglis – Just a Little Bit Crazy

Fran grew up in a family of five girls so there was always a scramble for their treadle sewing machine!  She began embroidery at age 12, doing a small sampler and several linens.  Always interested in quilting she took up the hobby in 2002 when she retired from teaching.  It was while reading a book by Judith Baker Montano that Fran recognized that crazy quilting combines her two favourite things, embroidery and quilting! She can now be forever creating different and beautiful work.  This is the most diverse, forgiving and satisfying needlework and Fran just loves doing it!!
