Using Scraps in Traditional and Modern Quilting by Jennifer Dyck

This workshop will focus on a variety of ways to use scraps in traditional and modern quilting. Techniques and skills, rather than a project, will be introduced. We will focus on the skills of string piecing, crumb piecing, and modern improv piecing.  With these building blocks, you will be able to create your own quilt and use up even the tiniest of scraps.  Soon you too will be dumpster diving to save even those tiny pieces of fabric that your fellow quilters are throwing away! We will also discuss ways to organize, sort, and store your scraps for both traditional and modern piecing.
